Publication Ethics
Ibnu Sina Journal of Health Sciences is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics, academic integrity, and scientific responsibility throughout the publication process. All parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, and reviewers, are expected to adhere to recognized ethical standards.
Authors are required to submit original manuscripts that are free from plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, and unethical authorship practices. Authors are also responsible for ensuring that all data and information presented in their manuscripts are accurate, reliable, and obtained through appropriate research methods.
Editors are responsible for making fair, objective, and independent publication decisions based on the scientific quality, originality, relevance, and contribution of the manuscript. Editorial decisions must not be influenced by the authors’ personal background, institutional affiliation, nationality, or any other non-academic factors.
Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations. All manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents and must not be used for personal advantage or shared with others without authorization.
Research involving human participants, patient data, clinical samples, or animals must obtain ethical approval from an authorized ethics committee and include informed consent where applicable. Authors are also required to disclose all sources of funding and any potential conflicts of interest that may influence the research findings.
Any violation of publication ethics, including plagiarism, data manipulation, or other forms of scientific misconduct, may result in manuscript rejection, publication of corrections, expressions of concern, or article retraction. These measures are implemented to ensure the credibility, transparency, and reliability of all articles published in Ibnu Sina Journal of Health Sciences.
