Every manuscript submitted to Jurnal Abdimas Nusantara: Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Multidisipliner (JANPKMM) undergoes an objective evaluation process to ensure academic quality, originality, relevance, and contribution to the development of community service practices.

At the initial stage, the editorial team conducts an administrative screening to assess the manuscript's compliance with the journal's focus and scope, author guidelines, article structure requirements, and plagiarism screening results. Manuscripts that do not meet the initial requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected before entering the review process.

Manuscripts that pass the preliminary screening are assigned to reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject matter of the article. JANPKMM applies a Double-Blind Peer Review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the review process to ensure objectivity, independence, and fairness.

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on several criteria, including:

  • Novelty and relevance of the community service program;
  • Clarity of community or partner needs and problem identification;
  • Appropriateness of the implementation methods;
  • Quality of results and discussion;
  • Impact and sustainability of the program;
  • Quality and relevance of references;
  • Contribution of the article to community development and community service practices.

Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editor may issue one of the following decisions:

  1. Accepted;
  2. Accepted with Minor Revisions;
  3. Accepted with Major Revisions;
  4. Rejected.

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers' comments and resubmit the revised version within the specified deadline. Failure to adequately address the requested revisions may result in rejection of the manuscript.

The final decision regarding publication rests with the editorial board, taking into consideration the reviewers' recommendations, the quality of revisions made by the authors, and the manuscript's compliance with the journal's publication standards and policies.
