Abstract

This study aims to examine business philosophy in the digital era through a conceptual review of the definition of business philosophy, the impact of digital technology on business practices, key philosophical questions in digital business, historical context, modern perspectives, and case studies of digital business philosophy. The rapid development of artificial intelligence, big data, digital platforms, automation, and algorithmic systems has significantly transformed how businesses create value, make decisions, interact with consumers, and build competitive advantage. However, digital transformation also raises ethical and philosophical issues, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, transparency, accountability, digital inequality, and the potential reduction of human values in business relations. This study employs a library research method with a qualitative-conceptual approach by analyzing relevant academic literature, journal articles, books, and scientific publications. The findings indicate that business philosophy in the digital era cannot be limited to profit orientation, efficiency, and technological innovation. Instead, it must also address moral responsibility, social justice, human dignity, and sustainability. Digital business requires a new philosophical framework that integrates classical business ethics with corporate digital responsibility. The study concludes that business philosophy plays a critical role as a reflective and evaluative foundation for ensuring that digital business practices remain ethical, accountable, humane, and sustainable. Therefore, digital transformation should not be understood solely as a technological and economic phenomenon, but also as a philosophical and ethical challenge that requires responsible governance and a value-based business orientation
