Peer Review Process
Each manuscript submitted to Indonesian Multidisciplinary Proceedings (IMP) undergoes a review process to ensure academic quality, originality, relevance, and compliance with publication ethics standards.
At the initial stage, the editor conducts an administrative screening to assess manuscript completeness, compliance with the proceedings' focus and scope, formatting requirements, and similarity levels using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts that meet the preliminary requirements are forwarded to reviewers or review teams with expertise relevant to the subject area of the article.
The review process is conducted objectively, professionally, confidentially, and constructively. Reviewers evaluate several important aspects, including the clarity of the title and abstract, relevance of the topic, originality of the ideas, appropriateness of the methodology, depth of analysis, quality of results and discussion, suitability of references, and the contribution of the article to the advancement of knowledge and professional practice.
Based on the review results, a manuscript may receive one of the following decisions:
- Accepted;
- Accepted with Minor Revisions;
- Accepted with Major Revisions;
- Rejected.
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers’ comments and resubmit the revised version within the timeframe specified by the proceedings management. The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance is made by the editor based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the quality of the revisions, and the manuscript’s compliance with the publication standards of Indonesian Multidisciplinary Proceedings.
